Laura is an art director, designer and illustrator living in Austin, TX. She graduated in 2008 from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has since collaborated with organizations such as BBC, United Nations, AIGA, IBM, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Who What Wear and others. Currently she is a Product Designer at Blackboard.
When not designing and art directing, Laura can be found doodling on her iPad or making sourdough bread. She also offers a monthly workshop for women called Ladies Draw x Design Night for women in the design industry to come together and make art, connect and lift each other up. Laura recently ran a program at Round Rock High School teaching design thinking, and collaborated with members of IBM Design creating programming which brings design thinking training to students in underserved communities nationwide.
